The Art Of… returns with a fresh perspective on arts and culture, exploring life’s big questions through a creative lens. In this episode, titled “Sport,” celebrated footballer Elise “KK” Kellond-Kight trades her football boots for a camera as she ventures into the world of art and sport.
“KK” is joined by surfing icon and talented painter Otis Hope Carey, award-winning AFL photographer Michael Willson, and ABC’s evening news anchor Tamara Oudyn as they examine the relationship between art and sport and our obsession with it.
Together, they contemplate whether art and sport are rivals or allies, using their respective platforms to capture and express the beauty and passion inherent in both pursuits.
The Art Of…: Sport, the 14th episode of the first season, airs on ABC Australia at 9:20 pm on Tuesday, the 17th of September 2024.
