One student, Stephanie, is a dedicated fan of the Swans, while Angus shares a passion for various forms of football. Recognizing that not all her students are sports enthusiasts, Sales skilfully assists them in uncovering different facets of Goodes’ life and personality.
The interview gives a glimpse into Goodes’ life beyond the football field. The students’ questions reveal a warm and humorous side to Goodes as he discusses his football career, family, his stance against racism, personal regrets, and even his thoughts on swans, the birds, rather than the team.
