Damian Barr hosts the second instalment of The Big Scottish Book Club’s sixth season, recorded in front of a live audience at Leith Theatre during the Edinburgh Festival. In this episode, Barr is joined by an impressive lineup of guests, including Sara Pascoe and Cariad Lloyd, who are in Edinburgh for a live recording of their Weirdos Book Club podcast and their Fringe performances.
The duo is joined by the master of crime fiction, Chris Brookmyre, who discusses his latest mind-bending thriller, The Cracked Mirror. Additionally, Len Pennie celebrates the richness of the Scots language with a special reading from her new collection, Poyums, at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.
