The FOX drama series “The Cleaning Lady” returns with an episode titled “From the Ashes,” exploring shifting dynamics and forming alliances. In this installment, Thony (Élodie Yung) becomes an asset to Ramona (Kate del Castillo), altering their relationship. Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) and Nadia (Eva De Dominici) join forces, while Russo’s team, including Agent Garrett (Oliver Hudson), makes strides in their investigation.
Now in its third season, “The Cleaning Lady” centers on Thony De La Rosa, a former Filipino surgeon who enters the criminal underworld in search of medical treatment for her son, Luca. With her visa expiring, Thony navigates a double life, cleaning crime scenes for Arman Morales (Adan Canto) and his organization.
In this edition, Thony’s offer to Ramona leads to a potential power shift, and Jorge and Nadia’s collaboration adds intrigue. Meanwhile, Russo’s team closes in on their target.
Following the unexpected passing of Adan Canto, showrunners Miranda Kwok and Jeannine Renshaw have carefully addressed his character’s absence, honoring his memory. The episode also introduces Teresa and Eduardo Morales, played by Jacqueline Obradors and Jason Manuel Olazabal, as Arman’s parents.
The Cleaning Lady: From the Ashes will air on Tuesday May 7 at 8:00 p.m. on FOX.
