The CW Network has announced a new unscripted series, The Wranglers, set to premiere on Thursday, 24 October. The eight-part series will document the personal and professional lives of young staff members working at the Circle Bar Dude Ranch in Montana, providing an insight into the world of these cowboys and cowgirls.
Heather Olander, Head of Unscripted Programming at The CW Network, commented on the appeal of the series, “Fans love the drama of the bunkhouse on the scripted hit ‘Yellowstone,’ and now we’re bringing it to life in this series”. The Wranglers will highlight the drama, romance, friendship, and conflicts of the hard-working and passionate individuals who call the ranch home.
The series is set at the Circle Bar Dude Ranch, owned by second-generation rancher Russell True. Guests visit the ranch to experience the authentic American West, while the staff caters to their demands and deal with their personal lives. The wranglers embody a “work hard, play hard” mentality, balancing their professional responsibilities with their lively social lives.
The Wranglers will premiere on Thursday, 24 October, at 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The series is produced by Sharp Entertainment, part of Sony Pictures Television, for The CW. Executive producers include Matt Sharp, Dan Adler, Amy Bonezzi, Becca Gullion, and Dan Morando.
