This autumn, ABC introduces The Golden Bachelorette, a spin-off of the popular dating show The Golden Bachelor, which won over 43 million viewers last fall. Premiering on Wednesday, 18 September, at 8/7c, the series will feature 24 distinguished men in their golden years vying for the heart of Joan Vassos, a woman seeking a second chance at love.
Vassos, a devoted mother of four and grandmother of three, embodies resilience and grace. Having faced challenges, including the loss of her husband, she remains strong and optimistic, embracing family values and a love for music, her dog, and cooking. Now, she steps into the spotlight, envisioning a future filled with shared moments by the beach and cherished family time.
