The Golden Cobra, a surreal animated comedy series, debuts with a tale of culinary chaos and unexpected visitors. In this series premiere episode, titled “The Golden Cobra,” the focus is on the eccentric characters of Ebbw Vale’s Indian takeaway.
Basil Abassi, the proud owner of The Golden Cobra restaurant, finds himself in a frenzy when an unannounced health inspector pays a visit. Determined to protect his business and showcase the delights of his cuisine, Basil’s actions lead to unforeseen consequences. But will he be able to hide the truth and maintain his reputation?
Meanwhile, Nick, one of The Golden Cobra’s employees, encounters his old rival, Bennett, while making a delivery with his son Rhys. Intimidated by Bennett’s threatening attitude and references to their past, Nick makes a hasty escape in the car, only to realize that he has left Rhys behind.
