On Friday, May 24, 2024, The Kelly Clarkson Show welcomes a diverse group of guests, including Hollywood stars, TV icons, and real-life heroes.
Kicking off the show is Kelly’s signature Kellyoke segment, where she’ll perform a cover of “Bloom.”
Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth will join Kelly to discuss their new film, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.” The highly anticipated prequel to the 2015 film “Mad Max: Fury Road” tells the origin story of Furiosa, previously portrayed by Charlize Theron. Taylor-Joy and Hemsworth recently attended the film’s premiere at Cannes, making headlines with their unexpected fashion choices.
The show will also feature an interview with Lee Jung-jae, a renowned South Korean actor and filmmaker. Jung-jae is considered one of South Korea’s most successful actors, with numerous accolades to his name, including a Primetime Emmy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Critics’ Choice Television Award. Aside from his acting career, Lee is also a businessman, having founded several companies, including a real estate development company, and owning a chain of restaurants in Seoul.
Five sorority sisters from the University of Georgia will be recognized for their heroic actions. Molly McCollum, Jane McArdle, Eleanor Cart, Clarke Jones, and Kaitlyn Lannace were on a road trip when they witnessed a car veer off the road and into a creek. With courage and quick thinking, they sprang into action, rescuing a mother and her two young children from the sinking vehicle.
The episode will also include a conversation with actresses Christina Applegate and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who have formed a strong bond through their shared battle with multiple sclerosis (MS). Applegate and Sigler, co-hosts of the “MeSsy” podcast, will open up about their experiences and the unbreakable connection they’ve forged through their health struggles.
