On Monday, May 6, 2024, on ABC, Kelly Clarkson will be kicking off the show with her “Kellyoke” segment, performing Metallica’s “Sad but True” from their self-titled album. The show will also feature a “Dear Mom” surprise.

Kelly will be chatting with Jeff Daniels about his new Netflix series, *A Man in Full*. Daniels plays Charlie Croker, a real estate mogul facing bankruptcy, in this limited series based on Tom Wolfe’s novel of the same name. Daniels’ character must defend his empire from those looking to capitalize on his downfall, and the show promises a star-studded cast, including Tom Pelphrey, Diane Lane, and Lucy Liu.

Author John Green and director Hannah Marks will be appearing on the show to discuss their upcoming film collaboration, Turtles All the Way Down. The film is based on Green’s novel of the same name and stars Isabela Merced as Aza, a 16-year-old girl with OCD who pursues a mysterious disappearance.

Actress Lauren Miller Rogen and her husband, actor and comedian Seth Rogen, will be discussing their work to raise awareness for dementia prevention. The couple has been married for over a decade and has been vocal about Lauren’s mother’s battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
