On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, The Kelly Clarkson Show welcomes actor and filmmaker Ron Howard, puppeteer and philanthropist Cheryl Henson, folk-acoustic duo Angus and Julia Stone, and musician Tyla.

Ron Howard, an Academy Award-winning filmmaker, joins the show to discuss his career and his latest documentary about the life of opera legend Pavarotti. Known for his critically acclaimed dramas and hit comedies, Howard has created some of Hollywood’s most memorable films, including “A Beautiful Mind,” “Apollo 13,” “Parenthood,” and “Splash.” He began his career as an actor, appearing in “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Happy Days,” before making his directorial debut with “Grand Theft Auto” in 1978.

Cheryl Henson, the second child of Jim and Jane Henson, is an American puppet builder and philanthropist. She has served as the president of the Jim Henson Foundation since 1992 and is a supporter of puppetry arts and artists. Henson began her career building puppets for “The Muppet Show” while still in high school. She has also worked on various television and film productions, including “Labyrinth,” “The Tale of the Bunny Picnic,” and “The Dark Crystal.” Henson has written several books, including “The Muppets Make Puppets” and “It’s Not Easy Being Green: And Other Things to Consider,” a collection of quotes, anecdotes, and insights from Jim Henson.

Angus and Julia Stone, an Australian folk-acoustic duo and siblings, will perform on the show. Their latest album, “Cape Forestier, was released in June 2024 and features a return to their acoustic roots with a collection of heartfelt songs. The album includes tracks such as the title track “Cape Forestier,” “Losing You,” “The Wedding Song,” and “County Sign.”

Tyla, an up-and-coming musician, will also be featured on the show.
