The Last Leg returns to its roots, taking a prominent spot in Channel 4’s primetime schedule during the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. This first episode, titled “Opening Ceremony,” combines top-level sporting action with award-winning entertainment.
Following each day’s sporting events, Adam Hills, Alex Brooker, and Josh Widdicombe will present live from Paris, offering their distinctive comedic twist on the Games. They will be joined by semi-regular guest and comedian Josh Pugh, reporting live from the ground in Paris with all the latest news and action.
The opening episode features live studio guests, including comedians Rosie Jones and Josh Pugh, as well as former rugby union player and Paralympics presenter Ed Jackson. The trio of hosts will reflect on the day’s events and provide their unique take on the Paralympic Games, just as they did during the London 2012 Paralympic programming, where The Last Leg originated.
The award-winning show is known for tackling tricky questions and dissecting the week’s biggest news through a combination of acerbic wit, insightful discussion, and unique sketches, all while featuring big-name guests.
The Last Leg in Paris: Opening Ceremony airs on Tuesday, 28 August 2024, at 10:30 pm on Channel 4.
