On Monday, August 19, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert welcomes former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Hillary Rodham Clinton, the former U.S. Secretary of State and 2016 presidential candidate, joins the show to discuss her recent endeavors. Clinton has authored several books post-2016, including her third memoir, What Happened, and a picture book adaptation of It Takes a Village. She co-authored The Book of Gutsy Women with her daughter, Chelsea, and wrote her first fiction book, State of Terror, with Louise Penny. Clinton has also been involved in media ventures, including the Hulu documentary Hillary and the podcast You and Me Both. She produces the Apple TV+ series Gutsy and the upcoming CW adaptation of The Woman’s Hour.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, the Emmy-winning actress known for Seinfeld and Veep, will discuss her recent projects. Louis-Dreyfus signed a multi-year deal with Apple TV+ in 2020 and has appeared in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and the Marvel films Black Widow and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She will also appear in the 2025 film Thunderbolts.
