On Monday May 20, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert welcomes award-winning actress Sarah Paulson, known for her roles in “American Horror Story” and “Ratched”, to discuss her recent projects and achievements. Paulson recently received her first Tony Award nomination for her leading role in the Broadway show “Appropriate.” She also opened up about her relationship with partner Holland Taylor, sharing the secret to their long-term success.

Paul Scheer, actor, comedian, writer, producer, director, and podcaster, will join Paulson on the show. Scheer is known for his work on the FX series “The League” and his popular podcast “How Did This Get Made?” He will discuss his new memoir, “Joyful Recollections of Trauma,” which offers a candid look into his childhood and his journey to finding success and fulfillment. Scheer also has an upcoming Amazon MGM Studios pilot called “DINKS,” an improvisational-style multi-cam comedy that he stars in alongside his wife, June Diane Raphael.

The show will also feature a performance by the Broadway cast of “Merrily We Roll Along,” a revival of the Stephen Sondheim and George Furth musical. The cast includes Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, and Lindsay Mendez, who portray three lifelong friends navigating success, show business, and their unbreakable bond. The musical, directed by Maria Friedman, has received critical acclaim and is a contender for several Tony Awards.
