In an intense two-hour special programme, The Lost Boys of Bucks County reveals shocking serial killings that shook an idyllic, sleepy suburb of Philadelphia to its core. The nightmare began on July 5, 2017, when 19-year-old Jimi Patrick disappeared from Newtown Township. Within two days, three more young people from neighbouring suburbs, Dean Finocchiaro (19), Tom Meo (21) and Mark Sturgis (22), disappeared without a trace.

Now ID reveals an investigation that stumped law enforcement and features conversations with destroyed families left behind after senseless tragedy. The Lost Boys of Bucks County premieres on Monday 22 June from 9.00pm to 11.00pm ET on Investigation Discovery.

In two days, in July 2017, fear seized the Bucks County community, Pa, as several young people disappeared without a trace. As families become more and more desperate for an answer, local police, along with FBI agents, try to put together a seemingly random puzzle that covers several jurisdictions.

After a few days of searching for clues, they find a person of interest with links to missing children – Cosmo Dinardo. During the interrogation, the 20-year-old claims that he was not involved in the disappearances, but when evidence suggests that there may be more to it, there is a massive search through Dinardo’s expansive estate. As additional evidence is discovered, Dinardo has no choice but to confess to a crime so hateful that leaves investigators are repeatedly surprised by the discovery of an insolent predator and his accomplice Sean Kratz, whose heartless deeds have dug a path of destruction in a peaceful region.

The Lost Boys of Bucks County is produced for Investigation Discovery by Story House Productions with Carsten Oblaender as executive producer and Phil Claroni as co-executive producer.
