In this action-packed episode of The Motorway Cops: Catching Britain’s Speeders, Sergeant Dave Roberts embarks on a high-speed pursuit outside Newcastle. When a driver refuses to stop, the situation escalates as the car speeds down the A1 towards oncoming traffic. Will the police be able to apprehend the driver safely?
PC Jan Simlesa and PC Jamie Leslie receive a report of a suspected drink driver in North Shields. They’re astonished to find a very relaxed driver who openly admits to drinking and even jokes about failing the breath test. To make matters worse, the driver is also uninsured, and the car belongs to his date!
Meanwhile, Jamie responds to a call about a suspected drug-impaired driver. As he locates the vehicle, the driver runs a red light, leading Jamie on a chase. It turns out that Jamie has encountered this driver before, and the reunion is less than pleasant.
