The Motorway returns with another action-packed episode, airing on Channel 5 on Wednesday, 14 August 2024, at 8 pm. In this installment, the emergency patrol teams are faced with a major incident as a 44-tonne freight lorry crashes and overturns on the M6, blocking both sides of the busy motorway just as the morning rush hour is about to begin.
The patrol teams spring into action, working against the clock to clear the massive wreckage and reopen the motorway before the impending rush of traffic.
Adding to the challenge, a man tries to deceive the patrollers when he runs out of fuel, an HGV narrowly avoids catching fire due to locked brakes, and a school bus breaks down in a hazardous location.
