The Neighborhood returns to CBS with its latest episode, “Welcome to the Stand-Off,” written by Chris Kelly and Jay Phillips and directed by Robbie Countryman.
The episode explores the growing tension between Gemma Johnson (Beth Behrs) and Tina Butler (Tichina Arnold), as Dave Johnson (Max Greenfield) and Calvin Butler (Cedric the Entertainer) attempt to restore harmony. Meanwhile, Marty Butler (Marcel Spears) fills in for his sick brother, Malcolm Butler (Sheaun McKinney), accompanying Courtney (Skye Townsend) to a baby class.
In this episode, Dave and Calvin try to bring Gemma and Tina back together
The storyline with Marty and Courtney introduces a new dynamic to the show. Courtney, portrayed by Townsend, is a fun-loving and intelligent character who works with Marty at JPL.
