“The Reluctant Traveler” with Eugene Levy Trailer From Apple TV+
Apple TV+ debuted the trailer for its upcoming eight-episode globetrotting travel series, “The Reluctant Traveler,” at the 2023 Winter Television Critics Association press tour. The series is hosted and executive produced by Eugene Levy .
In “The Reluctant Traveler,” Levy explores some of the world’s most breathtaking locations and participates in exciting local adventures with new friends, such as a sound bath in the Maldives, ice floating in Finland, meeting members of the Navajo Nation in Utah, helming a sailboat in Lisbon, sampling the culinary culture of Tokyo, and trekking through the Costa Rican jungle. Levy also stays in some incredible hotels, such as the Gritti Palace in Venice and a train hotel high above South Africa’s Kruger National Park.
Although Levy admits that he is not the conventional host of a travel show because he is neither an adventurer nor a seasoned traveller, he recognises that he must widen his horizons in order to live a full life. Levy prepares to go with some apprehension, but he is hopeful that a new chapter in his life awaits him if he is willing to face his concerns head-on. He invites you to come along on the journey of a lifetime with him.
“The Reluctant Traveler” is produced for Apple TV+ by Twofour and is executive produced by Levy and David Brindley.
The series will premiere alongside highly anticipated Apple Originals also set to make their global debut this winter and spring on Apple TV+, including “Truth Be Told” season three, “Dear Edward,” “Hello Tomorrow!,” “Liaison,” “Swagger” season two and more.
“The Reluctant Traveler” also joins a growing lineup of acclaimed and award-winning docuseries on Apple TV+, including the recently premiered “Super League: The War for Football“; “The Big Conn,” featuring the biggest social security fraud in history; award-winning documentary event “Prehistoric Planet,” featuring Oscar®-nominated narrator Sir David Attenborough; “Make or Break,” the World Surf League docuseries; the Emmy Award-nominated elevated home-design docuseries “Home“; Emmy® Award-nominated modern warfare docuseries “The Line“; the acclaimed Emmy® Award-nominated four-part documentary series “They Call Me Magic,” chronicling the life and career of two-time NBA Hall of Famer and cultural icon Earvin “Magic” Johnson; Emmy® Award-nominated docuseries “Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson“; and the documentary event “Gutsy,” with executive producers and hosts Hillary and Chelsea Clinton as they take us on an intimate journey to meet some of the world’s most extraordinary women.
