Rob Corddry, the comedically gifted actor known for his roles in “Hot Tub Time Machine” and “Children’s Hospital,” graces the stage of “The Talk.” He isn’t there to hawk time-traveling hot tubs or questionable medical practices, though. Corddry’s appearance on the November 12 episode serves a different purpose: to discuss his elevated role in the second season of the CBS comedy “Bookie.”
Now a series regular, Corddry plays Walt Dinty, a key character in the world of veteran bookmaker Joe Massoni, played by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco. “Bookie” follows Massoni as he grapples with the rapidly changing landscape of legalized sports gambling. It’s a world brimming with offbeat clients, demanding family members, and colorful colleagues, offering plenty of fodder for Corddry’s brand of humor.
“Bookie” airs on CBS weekdays at 11:00 AM.
