The Tamron Hall Show, April 26, 2024, ABC, “Sasha Velour, Priyanka, Latrice Royale”

On Friday, April 26, The Tamron Hall Show welcomes Emmy Award-winning reality series “We’re Here” cast members Sasha Velour, Priyanka, Latrice Royale, and Jaida Essence Hall. They will discuss season four of the show, which sees them spreading love and connection through the art of drag across small-town America.

Sasha Velour, the stage name of Alexander Hedges Steinberg, is an American drag queen, artist, actor, and producer. Velour won the ninth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and is known for her drag revue “NightGowns” and one-queen show “Smoke & Mirrors.” She is also the director of “Velour: The Drag Magazine.”

Priyanka, the drag persona of Mark Suknanan, is a Canadian singer, television personality, and drag queen. Suknanan won the first season of “Canada’s Drag Race” in 2020 and has since released music and hosted several shows, including the Canadian Country Music Awards.

Latrice Royale, the drag persona of Timothy K. Wilcots, is an American drag performer, recording artist, and reality television personality. Royale is best known for their appearances on the fourth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

Jaida Essence Hall, the drag persona of Jared Johnson, is an American drag queen and reality television personality. Hall won the twelfth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and has since been a part of several domestic and international tours featuring Drag Race contestants.

Rinny Perkins, an American artist, comedian, actress, and writer, will join Tamron to discuss her book, “Not Everyone Is Going to Like You,” a collection of essays interspersed with original memes and designs. Perkins is also known for her online shop, Brownie Points, which features memes drawn from her own life experiences.

Plus Laura Gassner Otting, a leadership and talent expert, will share tips on how to become your best self from her book, “Limitless: How to Ignore Everybody, Carve Your Own Path, and Live Your Best Life.”
