The Today Show welcomes TV personality and former co-host Kathie Lee Gifford, and chef, author, and culinarian Toya Boudy.
Gifford, who co-hosted the show from 2008 to 2019, will discuss her new life in Nashville, Tennessee, where she relocated in 2021. She has described the city as having a “culture of kindness,” with “music everywhere.” Gifford has also welcomed three grandchildren since leaving the show.
Boudy will showcase her New Orleans-inspired cuisine, including chicken and sausage gumbo with praline candied bacon, as featured in her cookbook, Cooking for the Culture. Boudy, a mother of three, started cooking at a young age, influenced by her parents’ traditional New Orleans cooking. She has appeared on the Food Network and hosts the Culture & Flavor Podcast.
The Today Show airs Tuesday, August 13, 2024, on NBC.
