The Top Ten Revealed returns to AXS with a double bill on Tuesday night, continuing its countdown of the 200 Greatest Songs of the ’70s.
In the first episode, at 8:00pm, music experts Malina Moye, Robert Mason, and EG Daily join host Katie Daryl to discuss songs #80-71. They cover a diverse range of artists, from Gerry Rafferty to Lou Reed, and the songs featured include classics such as “Wild Horses” by The Rolling Stones, “Rich Girl” by Hall & Oates, and “I Shot the Sheriff.”
The second episode, airing at 8:30pm, welcomes music experts Stephen Pearcy, Eddie Trunk, and Lisa Loeb, who, along with host Katie Daryl, count down songs #70-61. They look at the stories behind the songs, celebrating artists like James Taylor and David Bowie. The episode includes iconic tracks such as “TNT” by AC/DC, “Take It Easy” by The Eagles, and “Heroes” by David Bowie.
