It’s almost Christmas, which means festive cheer, annoying carolers, and of course, talk shows doing holiday giveaways. “The View,” never one to miss a seasonal bandwagon, continues its “12 Days of Holidays” extravaganza this Thursday, December 19, with a visit from the always boisterous Billy Eichner.

Eichner will be on hand to discuss his role in the upcoming “Mufasa: The Lion King,” the latest installment in Disney’s ongoing quest to wring every last Hakuna Matata out of its intellectual property. While the 2019 “Lion King” remake received mixed reactions, “Mufasa” hopes to win over audiences with the origin story of everyone’s favorite regal lion dad. Whether the film can overcome the uncanny valley effect of photorealistic animals is another thing.
