The View is back with a new episode on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. on ABC. The episode features conversations with Naturi Naughton and Antony Starr.

Naturi Naughton, known for her roles in Power and Queens, joins the show to discuss her latest film, Abducted at an HBCU: A Black Girl Missing Movie. The Lifetime movie, produced by Garcelle Beauvais, highlights the growing epidemic of missing Black women and girls, particularly those from disadvantaged communities.

In the film, Naughton portrays Ellen, a college counsellor who becomes concerned about the disappearance of her student, Shannon (played by Tanyell Quian). Ellen’s worries are met with dismissiveness, and she takes it upon herself to find Shannon, uncovering a human trafficking ring targeting students.

Next, the show welcomes Antony Starr, a New Zealand actor best known for his television roles. Starr has gained wide attention for playing the villainous Homelander in the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys and its spin-offs.
