ABC’s “The View” is gearing up for a Wednesday packed with Hollywood glamour and holiday cheer. Kerry Washington, star of Tyler Perry’s upcoming World War II film “Six Triple Eight,” will join the panel to discuss the movie, which tells the true story of an all-Black, all-female postal platoon. The film shines a light on a largely untold chapter of history, highlighting the contributions of these extraordinary women during wartime.
Adding to the star power, Nikki Glaser, host of the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, will also appear. Glaser’s visit comes just weeks before the awards ceremony, so she may offer some hints about what to expect or share behind-the-scenes anecdotes.
And because it wouldn’t be December without a healthy dose of festive programming, Wednesday’s episode is also part of “The View’s” “12 Days of Holidays” celebration. Viewers can anticipate holiday-themed segments, perhaps even some giveaways or surprises. It’s a standard daytime TV tactic, but hey, who doesn’t enjoy a bit of holiday cheer?
“The View” airs weekdays at 11e/10c/p on ABC.
