So, Thanksgiving week on The View. Turkey, stuffing, awkward political debates… and Jude Law? Yes, ABC’s daytime staple is pulling out the big guns (or at least the moderately recognizable names) for the week of November 25, offering a mix of celebrity interviews and, one assumes, the usual roundtable chatter.
Colman Domingo kicks things off on Monday, presumably to discuss Netflix series “The Madness” and movie “Sing Sing”, two projects I am now vaguely curious about. Tuesday brings Lindsay Lohan, fresh off… well, whatever Lindsay Lohan’s been up to, to promote her latest Netflix rom-com, “Our Little Secret”. Ghosts star Danielle Pinnock will also be present, hopefully to offer some levity to what’s likely to be a Lohan-centric hour.
Wednesday looks to be the main course, with Jude Law stopping by to hawk not one but two projects: The Order and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. And because no Thanksgiving week is complete without a celebrity chef, Bobby Flay will also be on hand to present some Thanksgiving recipes and his promote his book, Bobby Flay: Chapter One.
Thursday and Friday offer encore presentations, with Stephen A. Smith on Thursday and a real head-scratcher of a pairing – Mayor Eric Adams and Billy Bob Thornton – on Friday. One imagines the Venn diagram of viewers eager to hear both a politician and a perpetually bemused actor is a rather small circle.
The View airs weekdays at 11:00 AM on ABC.
