ABC presents its annual glimpse into the minds and accomplishments of the world’s great and the good with “TIME100: The World’s Most Influential People.” Airing this Sunday, the special, now in its 22nd year, draws from the 19th annual TIME100 Gala, celebrating the individuals who have shaped the global landscape across various fields.
The 2025 list boasts a wide array of names, from the realms of entertainment, sports, technology, and beyond. Among those recognized are actor and producer Demi Moore, the ever-entrepreneurial Snoop Dogg, tennis icon and businesswoman Serena Williams, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and Demis Hassabis, the co-founder and CEO of Google DeepMind.
As always, the TIME100 list includes not only the honorees but also the guest contributors who pen tributes to each figure. This year features Shonda Rhimes writing about Ted Sarandos, Will Ferrell offering a perspective on Lorne Michaels, and Aly Raisman celebrating the influence of Simone Biles, alongside many other notable pairings. For six years now, TIME Studios and ABC have collaborated to bring these influential figures to a primetime audience, providing a unique window into their worlds and the work that earned them a place on this prestigious list.
“TIME100: The World’s Most Influential People” airs this Sunday, May 4 at 10:00 PM ET on ABC.
