Monday’s Today with Hoda & Jenna is shaping up to be a double dose of comedic talent. First up, the ever-effervescent Kristin Chenoweth will grace the Today stage to chat about her new Netflix rom-com, Our Little Secret, co-starring Lindsay Lohan. Check out the trailer below.
Later, Wendi McLendon-Covey, who spent years dealing with the Goldberg family’s eccentricities, is trading the suburban chaos for the medical mayhem of St. Denis Medical. This new NBC sitcom follows the staff of an underfunded hospital, a premise ripe with potential for both laughs and poignant observations about the state of healthcare. McLendon-Covey plays Joyce, the hospital’s executive director and a former oncology surgeon. It’s unclear whether her scalpel skills will be put to use, but her comedic timing undoubtedly will be.
Beyond the celebrity guests, Monday’s show will also feature “Today’s Talk: On the Record” with New Zealand DJ Zane Lowe, talking the latest music news. And in keeping with the Veterans Day spirit, Ally Love will lead a segment honoring those who have served.
