NBC’s Today Show isn’t taking a holiday from its usual blend of celebrity interviews, lifestyle segments, and breaking news, even as Thanksgiving approaches. The week of November 25, 2024, offers a cornucopia of programming, ranging from Hallmark movie stars to Macy’s parade madness.
Kaley Cuoco will be stopping by to discuss Based on a True Story not once, but twice. Viewers can catch her on both Monday and Tuesday. Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson and Jude Law bring a touch of Hollywood glamour to the Tuesday lineup. Neil Patrick Harris also joins the Tuesday festivities, adding his distinctive brand of charm to the mix.
Wednesday sees the Today Show tackling the all-important topic of Thanksgiving dinner prep, with Erin French on hand to answer viewer questions. Not to be outdone, Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story stars Hunter King and Tyler Hynes will make appearances on both Wednesday and Thursday, presumably to discuss the finer points of televised football romance.
Thursday, of course, is all about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will dominate the 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. hours. While the parade itself is a spectacle, the real question is, will Al Roker brave the elements once again?
Friday brings us the winner of the National Dog Show, always a heartwarming segment. Oprah Winfrey will discuss The 70 Club, and viewers can get a head start on their Black Friday shopping with Amazon deals. Finally, Jodie Turner-Smith will appear to promote new Paramount+ spy series The Agency, and the show will offer its weekend watchlist recommendations, presumably heavy on holiday-themed fare.
In all, it’s a typically eclectic week for the Today Show, offering a little something for everyone, even amidst the turkey-induced comas and shopping frenzies of the holiday season.
Today Show airs Monday – Friday at 7:00 a.m. on NBC.
