The Today Show: Penn & Teller (Nbc Wednesday, February 26, 2025)

The Today Show

Wednesday’s “Today Show” features a mix of topical discussions, magical performances, and celebrity interviews. The “First on Today: Common Sense Report” will tackle the ever-thorny issue of kids and screens, offering parents guidance – or at least commiseration – in tackling this complicated terrain.

Then, for those seeking a touch of wonder, mentalist Vinny DePonto will bring his illusions to Studio 1A. While magic on morning television might seem a tad out of place, it should at least be a diverting spectacle.

And speaking of spectacle, Penn & Teller join the “Catching Up With…” segment. Expect their trademark blend of wit and illusion, adding a bit of spark to the morning routine. Dr. Michelle Henry will also be on hand for some “Wellness Wednesday” skincare tips, because no “Today Show” is complete without a healthy dose of self-care advice.

Beyond the headliners, Melissa Garcia curates boxes for the “Shop TODAY” segment, a segment either genuinely helpful or subtly insidious, depending on your view of consumerism. The show also celebrates fashion designer Edward Armah in “Discover Black Heritage” and Lacee Green leads “Start TODAY: Boost Box.” Brianna Wiest offers insights on “Becoming Your Best Self,” presumably a segment more substantial than the usual self-help fluff. And Blayne Alexander provides a “Dateline Preview” for true crime aficionados.

The “Today Show” airs weekdays at 7:00 AM on NBC.
