On Wednesday, May 29, Today with Hoda & Jenna welcomes Chip and Joanna Gaines, Rumer Willis, and author Rachel Khong to the show.
Chip and Joanna Gaines, the popular HGTV stars, celebrate the 10th anniversary of their show “Fixer Upper” with a new project, “Fixer Upper: The Lakehouse.” The limited series will feature the couple renovating a 1960s lakeside property, incorporating summery and outdoorsy design elements.
Rumer Willis, an American actor, and the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, joins the show for a catching-up segment. Willis is known for her roles in films such as “Now and Then,” “The House Bunny,” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.” She also won season 20 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
The show features a “Read With Jenna” segment, where Jenna Bush Hager chooses a book for a monthly on-air book discussion club. For May 2024, Hager has selected “The Hotel Nantucket” by Elin Hilderbrand, a story of family, love, and self-discovery set against the backdrop of a beautiful island hotel.
Rachel Khong, an author, is the guest for the “Read With Jenna” segment. Her novel, “The Goodbye Party,” explores the complexities of family dynamics and the power of letting go. Khong’s writing has appeared in publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, and McSweeney’s.
