From Broadway raps to heavy metal, Jimmy Fallon’s late-night couch is hosting an eclectic mix this week. Kicking things off, Lin-Manuel Miranda, the multi-hyphenate force behind “Hamilton,” will discuss his new concept album, “Warriors,” a 26-track odyssey inspired by the 1979 cult classic film. Shailene Woodley, star of the new prime video thriller “Killer Heat,” will also join the Monday night lineup, alongside the Argentinan-born singer Nathy Peluso.
Tuesday sees Amy Adams discussing her role in “Nightbitch,” the film adaptation of Rachel Yoder’s novel about motherhood and, well, turning into a dog. Comedian Fortune Feimster will bring the laughs, while country duo Dan + Shay offer a musical counterpoint.
Wednesday’s episode offers a decidedly different flavor, with rapper and “Law & Order: SVU” stalwart Ice-T appearing alongside actress Isabella Rossellini. Ice-T will likely discuss his band Body Count’s latest album, “Merciless,” before they unleash their signature brand of metal on the late-night stage.
One thing’s for sure: Fallon’s week is shaping up to be anything but predictable.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35pm on NBC.
