Wednesday’s “Tonight Show” sees the arrival of Jamie Lee Curtis, a true Hollywood icon. She and Fallon will chat about her new movie “The Last Showgirl””, she also has a role in the quirky heist series “The Sticky.” Curtis is generally a good sport, so the interview shouldn’t be a total snoozefest.
Next up is Mikey Madison, a younger actress I’m only vaguely familiar with. I’m sure she’s lovely and talented, but I’m already bracing myself for an awkward anecdote about her breakout role or some such.
The musical guests are Michael Shannon and Jason Narducy, which is certainly… a choice. Shannon is a fine actor, but his musical talents are less established. The pair are actually touring and performing R.E.M’s third album Fables of the Reconstruction in it’s entirety this February (they did the album Murmer last year) so no wil probably be doing one of the songs off that album. Interesting concept to say the least.
“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” airs Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:35 PM on NBC.
