Another week, another parade of personalities slated for the “Tonight Show” couch. Jimmy Fallon’s late-night NBC offering has announced its guest lineup for the week of January 20, 2025, and it’s a mixed bag, as usual. From “Weekend Update” mainstay Colin Jost to comedic firebrand Sarah Silverman, the week features a familiar blend of actors, comedians, and musicians.
Kicking things off on Monday, January 20, is Colin Jost, likely armed with anecdotes from “SNL” or perhaps his marriage to Scarlett Johansson (though let’s be honest, we’re all hoping for some awkward Fallon-Jost banter). He’ll be joined by reality TV stalwart Dorinda Medley, whose brand of boisterous honesty should either be amusing or excruciating, depending on your tolerance. Musical stylings will be provided by Stereo MCs.
Tuesday, January 21, sees the arrival of Sarah Silverman, whose comedic sensibilities have evolved from shock-value to insightful, often politically charged, observations. She’ll share the stage with Bobby Cannavale, the reliably excellent character actor. Musical guest Lola Young rounds out the evening.
Wednesday, January 22, brings a dose of elegance with Lucy Liu, whose career has spanned genre television, action films, and more recently, directing. Music fans can look forward to a dose of The Roots’ Questlove, along with comedian Debra DiGiovanni.
And closing out the week on Thursday, January 23, is Andie MacDowell, forever etched in our memories for “Four Weddings and a Funeral” but she will be talking about season 3 of her time travel Hallmark drama “The Way Home”. Teddy Swims provides the musical entertainment.
“The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” airs weeknights at 11:35 PM on NBC.
