Recap Update: the Top 6 contestants secured their place in the competition while bidding farewell to Drea Onamade and Kiani Smith. The episode featured an emotional performance of “Rush” by Troye Sivan by the Top 8, as well as a stunning performance by host Ricki-Lee of a new song from her album “On My Own”. The bottom four contestants were revealed after 3.3 million votes were cast, leading to shock among the judges.

The bottom four contestants had to perform again for a chance to stay in the competition. Dylan impressed with his rendition of “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon while Drea wowed the judges with “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” by Kylie Minogue. Denvah and Kiani also delivered powerful performances.

After Kiani and Drea were eliminated, the judges praised their talent and encouraged them to continue pursuing music. The remaining contestants are set to showcase their talents in the upcoming heroes and tributes week, fighting for a spot in the Grand Final.
