Top End Wedding Follow-Up Series, Top End Bub, Begins Production in Australia

Top End Bub

The romantic comedy series Top End Bub has commenced production in Australia’s Northern Territory, specifically in Darwin, with plans to later film in Adelaide, South Australia. A follow-up to the 2019 hit film Top End Wedding, the series will see the return of stars Miranda Tapsell and Gwilym Lee as Lauren and Ned, a couple navigating the challenges of unexpected parenthood and cultural responsibilities.

Tapsell, who is also the series’ co-creator and co-writer, expressed her excitement about the project, stating that she and the team are thrilled to bring the beloved characters and the beauty of the Top End back to audiences’ screens. The series, created and written by Tapsell and Joshua Tyler (the duo behind the original film), is produced by Goalpost Pictures, with Rosemary Blight serving as executive producer alongside Tapsell and Tyler.
