Things are heating up in Guy Fieri’s culinary arena as “Tournament of Champions VI” continues this Sunday. “If You Can’t Take the Heat…” brings the first round of battles to a close, featuring four sudden death matchups that will determine which chefs advance in the competition.
The randomizer, that unpredictable engine of culinary chaos, is back, throwing curveballs at the contestants with each spin. This week’s matchups include a clash of styles as Joe Sasto takes on seasoned veteran Fabio Viviani, a battle of Top Chef alums as Lee Anne Wong faces returning competitor Chris Scott, while four-time finalist Jet Tila squares off against qualifier winner Pyet DeSpain, and Karen Akunowicz and Jonathon Sawyer, both James Beard Award winners, face off in a culinary showdown.
