Tracker Neil is closing in on a stolen Toyota Hilux, tracing it to a remote industrial estate in Essex. After the thieves’ failed attempt to block the vehicle’s signal, the job of recovering the car seems almost complete. The real challenge begins, however, when the mission shifts from a simple hunt to a tense human confrontation.
Just as Neil is about to seize the vehicle, he is challenged by a man who insists he bought the Toyota at an auction. His story quickly falls apart when he admits he has no key for the car, turning a straightforward recovery into a high-pressure standoff. With police minutes away, the question is no longer where the car is, but whether this is a brazen thief or an unfortunate victim of a scam.
Meanwhile, tracker Richard finds himself deep in the Devon countryside on a different kind of mission. He begins a difficult two-day search for valuable machinery stolen from a construction site, battling the terrain to get a signal and bring the equipment home.
