“Tracker,” CBS’s action-packed procedural, usually sticks to the gritty realities of bounty hunting and fugitive recovery. But this Sunday, the series takes a detour into the spooky, supernatural streets of New Orleans with “Exodus,” an episode that adds a touch of the eerie to the usual formula.
When a teenage musician goes missing, Colter finds himself in the Big Easy, a city known for its music, its mysteries, and its…let’s say, unconventional spiritual practices. He partners with a local detective, Marci House, who knows the city’s shadows as well as she knows its police codes. Together, they begin to peel back the layers of the disappearance, uncovering a trail that leads them far from the usual haunts of bail jumpers and into the realm of dark magic.
“Exodus” seems like a departure for “Tracker,” but it’s one that fans of the show’s more offbeat cases might appreciate. The New Orleans setting gives the series a chance for a change of pace – it’s a unique cultural backdrop against which Colter can ply his trade.
Find out when “Tracker: Exodus,” written by Travis Donelly & Dominique A. Holmes and directed by Lionel Coleman, airs this Sunday, March 23rd at 8:00 PM EST on CBS. The episode will also be available to stream live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, and on demand the following day for Paramount+ Essential subscribers.
