The manor doors are creaking open again. The Traitors NZ returns to BBC Three this Monday, 16 June at 8 PM, bringing a fresh batch of twenty-two unsuspecting Kiwis into a high-stakes game of deception, paranoia, and cold, hard cash. Set against the suitably gothic backdrop of Claremont Manor, the second season wastes no time establishing the rules: there are Traitors among them, secretly plotting to “murder” their fellow players—the Faithful—one by one. Overseeing the psychological warfare is host Paul Henry, back to stoke the flames of suspicion and preside over the late-night roundtables.
Anyone who caught the first season—or its UK predecessor—knows the addictive formula here: the paranoia builds slowly, alliances crumble, and the constant threat of banishment hangs heavy in every conversation. This time around, a whole new set of personalities are thrown into the mix and the social dynamics kick into high gear with whispered accusations and side-eyed glances right out of the gate.
Don’t expect a warm welcome. This isn’t a game of making friends—it’s all about survival and a hefty prize of up to $100,000.
The Traitors NZ premieres Monday, 16 June at 8:00 PM on BBC Three.
