Nine Network’s “Travel Guides” packs its bags this Sunday for a whirlwind tour of Spain and Portugal. Think tapas in sun-drenched Madrid, the architectural wonder of the Alhambra in Granada, and the fiery passion of flamenco in Seville. And yes, a stop in Lisbon wouldn’t be complete without indulging in a world-famous Portuguese tart (or two). This time around, the guides’ European adventure involves the, shall we say, intimate confines of a coach tour.
As always, “Travel Guides” features a panel of everyday Australians offering their unfiltered opinions on what constitutes a good getaway. From budget-minded travellers to those seeking five-star luxury, the guides experience the same itinerary, providing a spectrum of perspectives on the sights, sounds, and, of course, the food.
Will they all agree on the best paella? Doubtful. Will their reviews be entertaining? Almost certainly. This 90-minute episode of “Travel Guides” airs Sunday, 18 May at 7:00 PM AEST on Channel 9.
