Pack your bags (virtually, for now) and get set for some travel inspiration with the series premiere of “Travel Queens” on BET Her. Best friends Lex and Drea, also known for their YouTube series “Pour Minds,” take their bond on the road, exploring destinations through the lens of Black culture and balanced itineraries.
Their first stop? Cartagena, Colombia. The vibrant city offers a mix of history and excitement, and Lex and Drea experience it all. From exploring Palenque, the first free Black city in the Americas, to getting their groove on with a Champeta dance lesson on Fenix Beach, the duo takes viewers on a journey that’s both educational and entertaining. In between those experiences they find time for some ATV riding and massages.
“Travel Queens” looks like a fun and insightful take on travel, with a focus on connecting with Black culture and showing viewers that adventure and relaxation can go hand-in-hand. The series premieres this Wednesday, April 23rd at 8:00 PM ET on BET Her.
