True Crime Drama A FRIEND OF THE FAMILY Gets Australian Premiere on 7Plus This October

On Wednesday, 25 October, Channel 7 will premiere the limited true crime series, A Friend of the Family, exclusively on 7plus.
The tragic true story of the Broberg family served as inspiration for the nine-part drama. They had a charismatic and obsessed “friend” who kidnapped their eldest daughter Jan repeatedly over the course of several years. The Brobergs were a devout Christian family within a tight-knit community who had no idea their neighbour was using manipulation to tear them apart and turn their own daughter against them.
In A Friend of the Family, we learn about the strength and determination of one family as they endure unthinkable hardships.
