Truelove Acorn TV Premiere, Monday, March 31

Truelove

Acorn TV invites you to a rather unusual reunion this Monday with the premiere of “Truelove,” a darkly comedic drama that explores friendship, aging, and mortality. What starts as a drunken, fanciful idea among old friends takes a decidedly serious turn when a pact to help each other die on their own terms becomes something much more real.

With a stellar cast featuring Clarke Peters (“The Wire”), Phil Davis (“Notes on a Scandal”), and Lindsay Duncan (“Under the Tuscan Sun”), along with Fiona Button, Peter Egan, and Sue Johnston, “Truelove” explores the fine line between gallows humor and genuine despair. As the friends grapple with their own mortality, the bonds of their long-standing relationships are tested.

All four episodes of “Truelove” become available for binge-watching on Acorn TV on Monday, March 31st at 3:01 AM EST. It’s a series that asks big questions about life, death, and the choices we make along the way – with a healthy dose of dark humor to make it all go down a bit easier.
