David Baddiel and Hugh Dennis, friends for 40 years, embark on a cycling adventure through France, and if their past collaborations are anything to go by, expect a healthy dose of witty banter and mild mischief along the way. Their 200-mile journey begins in Arcachon, winding its way towards Bordeaux.
Along the route, they indulge in the region’s culinary delights (read: lots of seafood) and explore the architectural wonders of Bordeaux, a city steeped in Renaissance history. A visit to the Château Toulouse-Lautrec, where the famed artist created his masterpieces, adds a touch of culture to their two-wheeled escapades.
The final leg of their journey takes them along the historic Garonne canal, offering stunning views of the river valley and providing what sounds suspiciously like David Baddiel’s first encounter with a hill.
Tune in to More4 at 9:00 PM on Monday for a lighthearted escape to the French countryside.
