Andi’s world is about to implode. In a two-hour holiday treat BET’s Tyler Perry’s Sistas unfurls a double-whammy of chaos for the perpetually embattled lawyer. First, in “Forget Me Not,” Gary’s descent into delusion reaches a fever pitch, stirring up instant tension with Robin and Hayden. This is Sistas, so naturally, a simple conversation devolves into a shouting match faster than you can say “Madea’s Christmas Play.”
Then, just when you thought Andi might catch a break, “Breathe” delivers a knockout punch to her professional life. The partners at her firm, demonstrating the kind of empathy usually reserved for tax audits, promptly place her on leave and yank back that managing partner offer. Apparently, courtroom victories and billable hours are no match for good old-fashioned office politics.
But the hits keep coming. As “Breathe” concludes, Andi faces a far more visceral threat – a physical attack in the parking lot. While the assailant’s identity remains a mystery, the incident injects a palpable sense of danger into the series. Is this a random act of violence or something more sinister? Is someone targeting Andi specifically? Frankly, it is Sistas, so either possibility is equally plausible.
