“Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan” turns up the volume this Wednesday with a battle of the bands – or rather, a battle of the songwriters. In “Yours, Mine, and Also Mine,” young musical prodigies Dylan and Rebecca find themselves locked in a creative tug-of-war over a song they’ve written for a major competition. Collaboration turns to cutthroat competition as each tries to one-up the other, convinced their version is the one that will secure them the win.
Meanwhile, away from the recording studio and amidst the escalating musical mayhem, Charlie’s culinary skills, or lack thereof, are put to the test. Whether he’s burning the toast or inventing some new questionable concoction, Charlie’s kitchen capers offer a welcome dose of comedic relief from the high-stakes songwriting showdown.
