UK Thriller “Better” Will Premiere on Binge Australia this March
Fast-paced and set in a world where everyone has their own idea of what is right and wrong, 5 part thriller Better stars BAFTA nominee Leila Farzad (I Hate Suzie) as DI Lou Slack and Broadchurch’s Andrew Buchan as Col. McHugh. The series will premiere in Australia on 14 March with a full series drop on Binge.
The series follows DI Lou Slack’s (Farzad) endeavour to obtain absolution by taking down Col McHugh (Buchan), the man she has grown to love like a brother and who she has helped to place at the head of Leeds’ criminal underworld. The series is a fascinating look at the power of the human conscience. But, while Col is a perilous foe to make, Lou’s greatest war may possibly come with herself.
The BBC’s Mona Qureshi and Nawfal Faizullah served as executive producers alongside SISTER’s Chris Fry (Landscapers), Lucy Dyke (The Split, Black Mirror, Eric), Jonathan Brackley (The Split, Black Mirror, Eric), and Sam Vincent (This Is Going to Hurt, Chernobyl, The Split). The main director is Jonathan Brough (The End, Rosehaven).
Better premieres on Binge in Australia on 14 March.
