CNBC is set to premiere a brand new series called “Unlocked,” which offers viewers an inside look into the world of real estate and the sacrifices people make to turn their housing dreams into reality. With ten episodes in total, the series explores the diverse range of housing experiences and provides insights into what people are willing to spend for their ideal homes.
The first episode, titled “YouTube Mansion & Net Zero House,” (March 10) delves into the transformation of a century-old house into a net zero energy home. Additionally, viewers will get a glimpse inside a YouTube creator’s impressive $43,000 per month southern California home and office space.
In the second episode, “Living on the Sea,” (March 17) audiences will witness how one family has chosen to embrace an unconventional lifestyle by traveling the world while living on their sailboat.
Moving forward, episode three, “A Big Renovation & Hawaii Condo,”(March 24) introduces us to city dwellers who leave their jobs behind to embark on an ambitious renovation project in the desert. Alongside this story is a captivating exploration of someone’s dream condo in beautiful Hawaii.
Finally, in episode four titled “High School & Living in a Jet,” (March 31) viewers will be amazed by three individuals who successfully convert an abandoned high school building into modern apartments. Furthermore, they will witness one man’s extraordinary endeavor as he purchases an out-of-commission jetliner and transforms it into his unique dwelling nestled deep within the woods.
