“Utopia” Season 5 Set to Premiere June 7 on ABC TV
ABC TV returns to the federal government agency that oversees major infrastructure projects, the Nation Building Authority.
The point where bureaucracy and lofty goals collide is one that Utopia investigates. It’s a nod to the politicians who have figured out how to turn long-term thinking into immediate benefits.
What is in store in Utopia season 5
Season 5 of the critically acclaimed show finds the Nation Building Authority’s staff struggling to complete their work in the face of political interference, shifting priorities, and other obstacles. Tony Woodford, CEO, and his devoted team are frustrated by project management groups who care only about platitudes.
The announcement of a multibillion-dollar project without a business case or cost-benefit analysis. Changes in the international political order. A controversial statue is impeding the building of a road in a rural area. Plus a humiliating report from UNESCO are all in store for the NBA.
Rob Sitch, Celia Pacquola, Dave Lawson, Dilruk Jayasinha, Kitty Flanagan, Anthony Lehmann, Emma-Louise Wilson, Nina Oyama, Jamie Robertson, Mike McLeish, and Rebecca Massey are all back for Season 5.
